Export CSV from Revolut

Bank Export Guides2 min readUpdated March 2026

Overview

Revolut allows CSV exports from both the mobile app and web dashboard. JoinFunds supports two Revolut formats: Categorized (with spending categories) and Classic (without). Both are auto-detected.

Web dashboard

Log in to Revolut

Go to app.revolut.com and log in with your credentials.

Navigate to transactions

Click Transactions in the left sidebar to see your transaction history.

Set date range

Use the date filters at the top to select the period you want to export.

Generate statement

Click Generate statement and select CSV as the format. You may also find this under Account > Statements.

Download the file

Once generated, download the CSV file to your computer.

Mobile app

Open the Revolut app

Open the Revolut app and tap the account you want to export.

Request a statement

Go to Statements or tap the three dots menu. Select Get statement, choose the date range, and pick CSV format.

Save or share

Revolut will email you the statement or let you save it directly. Transfer the file to your computer and upload it to JoinFunds.

Format notes

  • Revolut Categorized: Includes a category column from Revolut's own categorization. JoinFunds reads this as a hint but applies its own rules.
  • Revolut Classic: Basic transaction data without categories.

Both formats are auto-detected. Multi-currency transactions are handled automatically.

If you have multiple currency pockets in Revolut, export each currency separately for cleaner imports. JoinFunds will convert amounts to GBP automatically.
